Opera Software has released yesterday an updated version of your browser. the release of Opera 9.26 is to correct three major security flaws, including one classified as "highly severe" by the same company in Oslo. The vulnerability in question could be used by attackers to cause the browser to treat the associated comments to the pictures on a page as if they were scripts.
One of the other two security flaws corrected by the new version instead has generated some controversy among Mozilla Foundation and Opera Software.
